history

Italian Soda was created in 2007 on September 23rd when I decided I needed a place to store my graphics. I didn't want to maintain a real website, so I decided I may as well try out a blog...even if it wouldn't be your average blog. This is the result. =] The name, of course, comes from the drink that is sparkling water mixed with flavoured syrup.

past layouts

MANHATTAN :: The most recent layout; it was a spur-of-the-moment type thing, meaning it was never planned out at all and wasn't meant to last very long. Which it didn't.
PANIC! :: The first layout I made for Italian Soda that wasn't just an edited version of an existing Blogger template. Obviously inspired by the band Panic at the Disco, particularly the song Nine in the Afternoon. It was filled with glitches and small imperfections that I couldn't be bothered to fix, but it seems to be everyone's favourite...and it's still one of mine.
RISING STORM :: My favourite layout. Another spur-of-the-moment layout, but this one actually was planned a bit.
VIOLETWINGEDFELINE :: I was experimenting with wings. I had a lot of fun with brushes [obviously], but otherwise it wasn't anything special.
LIMELIGHT :: Second layout? Again, nothing special, but I was really fond of the photo.
